Tony Rome is a visionary strategic marketer, known for his exceptional ability to
connect brands and consumers. As a recognized thought leader in brand building
along with sports and entertainment marketing, Tony has built an impressive career
spanning over 20 years.
In addition to his long-standing role as an entrepreneur, Tony was recruited in 2020 to
become the Chief Marketing Officer and Chief Channel Officer for ecoATM, a leader in
the smartphone recycle and reuse industry. As leader of the marketing team, Tony
leveraged his sports and entertainment marketing expertise to drive growth in
awareness and new customers.
He negotiated the company's first sports partnership with global football powerhouse,
Chelsea FC, and went on to secure another partnership with Atlanta United.
Additionally, Tony leveraged his contacts in the music industry to tap the innovative
and multi-Grammy Award-winning artist Robert Glasper for the company's first-ever TV
ad campaign.
Prior to joining ecoATM, Tony founded Maven Strategies, a leading strategic marketing
agency for athletes and entertainers During his time at Maven, Tony advised and
negotiated over $70 million in partnership deals for a wide range of clients including
World Series MVP Manny Ramirez, legendary endurance athlete David Goggins, Kevin
Hart's "Cold as Balls" series, Universal Pictures, Ford, General Mills, Netflix, and many
Others.
Tony is a recognized thought leader and is sought after for his expertise. He currently
serve as a strategic marketing advisor to a number of startups and is on the board of
Rumie.org, a leading non-profit digital education startup.
