Pashtana Durrani is the Founder and Executive Director of LEARN Afghanistan and one of Amnesty International's Global Youth Leaders. The 21-year-old was a recent finalist to become the Afghan Youth Representative to the United Nations. Pashtana identifies herself as a lifelong learner, who believes in the human capacity to learn and change their lives for the better, no matter where they live.
Skateistan empowers children through skateboarding and education in Afghanistan, Cambodia, and South Africa. By combining skateboarding with creative arts-based education, Skateistan is giving children the opportunity to become leaders for a better world. Skateistan is implementing Rumie technology into their Skate & Create curriculum and drop-in programs in their Skate Schools in Kabul and Mazar-e-Sharif.

Learning for Everyone, Everywhere
The Mighty Girls campaign is supporting the enhancement of Rumie's technology solution. This will include localization of content, interactivity features, and developing Rumie's brand new WebApp to ensure that the Rumie App is accessible on any and all devices (mobile phones, tablets, laptops, etc.). These enhancements will allow anyone, anywhere to access quality digital learning resources.
Spread the Word
The Rumie App offers a low-cost and scalable solution to ensure everyone has access to a quality education. Partners of Rumie choose or create the learning material that is most appropriate for their unique context and download that content using the Rumie App for offline use.
